Robert is an interdisciplinary scientist and philosopher building a novel framework of thinking that can integrate scientific research, technological developments (specifically: AI), and insights generated within the humanities. It currently focuses on the interface theory of perception as well as the mathematization of phenomenology, appealing to category and network theory (topology). In the past, Robert received a doctorate in physical chemistry in 2013 and a doctorate in philosophy in 2017 from ETH Zürich. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Humanities at ShanghaiTech University. His Erdős number is 4.
